It is tradition for the Contest Winning Papas of prior years to mount and ride the Bulls around the block during the Running of the Bulls.

Those Winners who were with me in the Bull Pen with the tourists insisted that I ride the Bull because I had been working in the Bull Pen all morning without a break. Work? I was having too much fun to take a break.

Plus my beautiful wife Terri kept me hydrated with ice cold beer. What an honor to be offered to ride the Bull. So I got on the Bull and rode around the block. Or maybe I should say the past Papas Hemingway pushed me around the block.

We started at Sloppy Joe's Bar Greene Street side entrance and finished at the front entrance of Sloppy Joe's Bar on Duval Street. At first my Bull was in the front! I think that is why I ended up on the Front Page of the Key West Sunday Paper the next day. A memory I hope to never forget.
